Havant Tory MP, Alan Mak has tonight voted FOR a tax rise in national insurance. This tax rise will not hit rich Tory donors, or Mr Mak himself, it will really be hit by YOU. The hardworking people of Havant will bear the brunt of this tax rise. Labour voted AGAINST these unfair tax rises.

In the 2019 election, Mr PM Johnson “promised” not to raise taxes. Rishi Sunak went further, and is on record saying that the Tories would CUT national insurance.

Mr Johnson’s excuse is the pandemic, which would be fair, HOWEVER in March this year, his Chancellor Mr Sunak explicitly stated that there would be no increase to national insurance contributions.

A Boris Johnson promise is just a lie that hasn’t happened yet.

So remember this when you next vote.

The Tories raised taxes on YOU.
