This bank holiday Monday, Labour’s candidate for the Hampshire police and crime commissioner, Tony Bunday, came and visited the Havant constituency and met some of our 2021 candidates!

Tony Bunday:

“My final stop (before polling day) on this exhilarating campaign to be The Labour Party  police and Crime commissioner for Hampshire took me to Havant today.

It was quite windy but we were still able to have some great chats with local residents, candidates, and councillors from around Havant,

It was really sad though that the same issues are coming up at every location we visit.  Antisocial behaviour, drugs, lack of youth provision are clearly stopping people feeling safe in their own homes.  We need to change this!

If elected, I would be very vocal with the government that we need more funding to tackle these issues BUT I would also work hard to increase inter-agency cooperation to make the most out of the resources that we already have.

We simply must do better for the residents of Hampshire & the Isle of Wight.

Please vote for me this Thursday in the Local Elections – polls are open 7am – 10pm”.
