On the Monday bank holiday, Havant Labour members went litterpicking on Petersfield Road, after Rosamund received complaints about rubbish on the verges from the recently opened fast food restaurants. We spent two hours on the verges picking up litter, and filled up NINE bags from the main road. We shall be lobbying the council to install rubbish bins on the site to hopefully prevent so much litter being left in the area.
